Description
Edward Edinger’s Ego and Archetype is a classic work, by one of the foremost interpreters of Jung, on one of Jung’s core psychological concepts – the process of individuation. In this 6-week class, we will do a close read of Edinger’s text. We will explore and discuss such topics as the ego-Self axis, the nature of individuality and individuation, and the religious function of the psyche. As we work our way through the book together, we will consider the implications for both clinical practice as well as our own personal individuation journeys.

He is the author of Religious but Not Religious: Living a Symbolic Life and the creator and host of the podcast Digital Jung. Jason serves as a training analyst and faculty member for the C.G. Jung Institute of New England.
