Creative Writing: A Personal Adventure with Manisha Roy
Date – June 17th, 2022
Time – 7 pm – 9 pm
Cost – $30
In this seminar I shall sketch a story of my personal experience of a synchronistic event that started an unconscious journey toward a vocation that was unknown to the conscious mind and was forgotten for forty-five years. At that time a major life crisis made this hidden preoccupation conscious and the ego had to embrace it moving toward a self-fulfilling prophecy of a fiction writer. This personal story is an interesting example of how the Self not only dictates someone but determines the path of the inevitable journey that helps the ego to fulfill its destiny. The participants will have an opportunity to do short exercises to evoke their creative muse, hopefully, inspired by the presentation.
